Team Unicycle

It’s official. I’m joining “Team Unicycle” on Sunday morning around 7 am on the Tour de Cure ride for Diabetes.  While this is not my stated charity, I am filling in for another member of the Atlanta Unicycle ClubChad Grosklags – who broke a leg on a recent ride.

I’m planning on hanging out with fellow riders Doug Papciak who is the lead fund-raiser, and Robert Coggins, the team leader, and Terry Vegter, our one-wheeled iron man.  Doug and I will log 14 miles, while Robert and Terry will probably traverse twice that.

About UniDude

UniDude is 62 and started riding a unicycle when he was 13. He now rides 1000 miles a year for charity, with an occasional wild stunt, like riding 60 miles in one day, or 200 miles over the entire length of the Silver Comet-Chief Ladiga Trail.
