A Thousand Miles for Charity!

Michael on Uni

Welcome to www.1000mileproject.org!  I will be logging at least 1000 miles over the next year (ending July 31st, 2011) for the Himalayan Childrens Charities, a non-profit group who sends 100% of its donations to the orphans in Nepal.

Help me help them!  If you can donate SOMETHING (10, 25, 50 cents or a dollar) for each mile I ride, this will go along way to saving those children who are considered throw-aways in their own land.  I will soon provide a direct link to the charity, along with complete details on how you can help.

SINCE AUGUST 1ST I have logged over 53 miles on my 29-inch Unicycle… videos will be posted, along with a mileage tracker.  STAY TUNED!!

About UniDude

UniDude is 62 and started riding a unicycle when he was 13. He now rides 1000 miles a year for charity, with an occasional wild stunt, like riding 60 miles in one day, or 200 miles over the entire length of the Silver Comet-Chief Ladiga Trail.
